Who is covered under NEAP℠?
Everyone doing work covered by a collective bargaining agreement which contains the NEAP standard contract language - including seasonal employees, employees working under school/work programs, groundsmen, and all levels of apprentices, pre-apprentices, and unindentured apprentices.

Is union membership required in order to participate in NEAP℠?
No. NEAP contributions are required on all workers doing work covered by the collective bargaining agreement regardless of union membership or affiliation.

Can the standard contract language for NEAP℠ be changed in negotiating a collective bargaining agreement?
No. The NEAP℠ standard contract language cannot be changed or modified except by the Plan’s Trustees.

What is a Participation Agreement?
A Participation Agreement allows a covered employer to make NEAP℠ contributions on behalf of its non-bargaining employees.
